Hi, I’m Sam

I've been an ADHD Coach since 2021, but my journey started back in 2018 when one of my children received their diagnosis. As parents, we were handed piles of conflicting information with no follow-up and left to figure it out on our own.

So, I did what I do best: I read everything I could get my hands on, bought all the books, scoured the internet, and started piecing together what actually helped the most. That search for answers, and community, is what eventually led me to coaching.

I hold a Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication, studied to be an ADHD Coach at the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), and completed an Executive Function coaching course through the Executive Function Coaching Academy. I work with adults (professionally and self-diagnosed) and parents of children with ADHD, and also offer Executive Function Coaching for high school and university students.

I'm based in Calgary, though I spent 15 years living overseas in Vietnam, Australia, and Malaysia before moving back to Canada in 2022.

"Sam worked with both my daughter and me over several months. My daughter, who has been diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive), worked with Sam on her organisational skills, and I worked with her on the challenges I face as an undiagnosed adult. Sam has a warm, approachable, and completely non-judgmental manner — my daughter, who was nervous about opening up to an adult, was quickly put at ease. Sam really understands ADHD in both teens and adults, and her knowledge of how ADHD presents differently in girls and women was particularly valuable for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for kind, practical support in managing ADHD."
