Hi, I’m Sam

I’ve been an ADHD Coach since 2021 but have been studying and learning about ADHD, Autism, Executive Function, and all manner of parenting skills since 2008.

When one of my children received a diagnosis, we were given all sorts of conflicting information and ran around in circles trying to figure out what was going on.

What we needed was a place to get accurate information, resources, and a safe place to connect with other people with similar experiences.

I was obsessed with learning as much as I could about ADHD – as well as finding like-minded people to talk to – to figure out how to do the best we could for our kids.

That yearning for a safe space to discuss everything ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergencies led me to become an ADHD coach as a way of trying to share what I knew and finding a community of like-minded people.

I have a Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication (MAIIC), studied ADHD and Coaching at the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and have completed an Executive Function course at the Executive Function Coaching Academy; all of which have given me the tools I need to work with people challenged by Executive Function and/or ADHD.

I work with adults with ADHD (both professionally and self-diagnosed) and kids of all ages to help explain what I know about ADHD and partner with them to find ways to make their lives easier; with both information and ideas to help them manage. I have recently expanded my practice to include Executive Function Coaching for students in high school and university.

Although based in Calgary, Canada I lived overseas for 15 years; in Vietnam, Australia, and Malaysia, and moved back to Canada in late 2022.

If you’d like to know more, reach out and we can chat.
