Frequently Asked Questions
-
ADHD coaching is a practical, forward-focused process that helps people with ADHD understand how their brain works and build strategies that fit their lives. It is not therapy - we're not focused on the past or on diagnosing anything. It's about figuring out what's getting in your way right now and finding approaches that work for you specifically.
-
They work on different things and can complement each other well. Therapy often focuses on past experiences and emotional well-being. Medication addresses the neurological aspects of ADHD. Coaching is present and future-focused - it's about developing practical skills and strategies for daily life. Many clients use coaching alongside therapy or medication; a combination can be very helpful.

I am a certified Executive Function Coach, trained through the Executive Function Coaching Academy (EFCA). I completed my ADHD coach training at the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), one of the most respected ADHD coach training programmes in the world, and I hold a Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication. I'm committed to ongoing learning in this field because it matters to me and to the people I work with.
-
All coaching is online, which means we can work together wherever you are. I'm based in Calgary, AB and work with clients across Canada and internationally.
-
It depends on what you're working on. Some clients make significant progress in a few months. Others find longer-term support more helpful. I offer flexible packages and we can talk through what makes sense for your situation on your discovery call.
-
Most clients meet weekly or every two weeks. I'm happy to adjust the frequency based on what works best for you.
-
It's a free, no-obligation conversation, usually about 20-30 minutes. We'll talk about what you're dealing with, what you're hoping to get from coaching, and whether we'd be a good fit. No pressure, no hard sell.
-
I don't coach children directly. I work with parents of children with ADHD to help reduce the overwhelm of navigating the diagnosis and finding the right support. I also offer Executive Function coaching for teens and young adults in high school and university.

Executive Function refers to the set of skills we use to plan, organise, start tasks, manage time, and regulate our emotions. These are often the areas where ADHD creates the most daily friction. Executive Function coaching focuses specifically on building these skills in practical, sustainable ways.
